Gravitation manga volume 1:

The main characters Shuichi Shiundou and Hiroshi Nakano (Hiro) are introduced, handling their debut. Maiko, Shuichi's sister, is with them and has the role of the keyboardist. At the moment the band still has not a name, but they will be called the "Bad Luck". Shuichi is trying to complete a song, when he meets Yuki Eiri, a very fascinating blond boy that's also a famous writer. Accidentally, Yuki reads the song's lyrics and just says: "Zero talent" to Shuichi.
Shuichi is deeply hurt and after had himself almost killed to run after Yuki; he finally can talk to him. Afterward, Seguchi Tohma and his wife Mika are introduced.
Tohma is NG Records president.

Gravitation manga volume 2:

In this volume Sakano, manager of the "Bad Luck", and Ayaka a misterious young girl, are introduced. In the beginning, it seems that Ayaka is in love with Tatsuha, Yuki Eiri's young brother, but she is Yuki's fiancée. The first concert of the "Bad Luck" is imminent, but a rival band, the ASK, is going to put them in trouble.

Gravitation manga volume 3:

"Bad Luck" present their first concert, and while Shuichi is struck by stage fright, Ryuichi Sakuma (famous singer of the now disbanded group "Nittle Grasper") makes his entry. Thanks to Ryuichi, Shuichi recovers his energy and completes the concert succesfully. Yuki and Shuichi might appear like a couple to be, but it will not work: after a TV quiz show "Bad Luck" wins the chance to sing a song on TV and Yuki breaks off with Shuichi. The "Bad Luck" becomes more popular than the "ASK", but the story is far from the end.

Gravitation Manga volume 4:

To get revenge, Tachi (ASK's leader) decides to rape Shuichi. After this dramatic moment, Shuichi finds the will strenght to call Hiro on the phone to be taken home. Later, after Hiro had explained what happened to Yuki, and then he gets angy and decides to make Tachi pay for his actions. After this bad circumstance, Shuichi and Yuki seems to have become a real couple.

Gravitation Manga volume 5:

A Ryuichi concert is imminent, but since he can't do it, Shuichi will take his place; Ryuichi doesn't seem to like this very much. Mr K, Ryuichi's manager, is also introduced in this episode. ASK are more and more annoyed by the success of "Bad Luck", but before Tachi can plan something, Tohma Seguchi scares him to death. Aftermath, Suguru Fujisaki, Tohma's cousin, becomes "Bad Luck"'s keyboardist.

Gravitation Manga volume 6:

Mr K wants Shuichi to feel great for the next concert, but Yuki has to go to New York. So Hiro makes Tatsuha, Yuki's brother, pretend to be Yuki, but a kiss to Shuichi is enough to unveil the trick.

Gravitation Manga Volume 7:

Hiro decides to quit "Bad Luck"; Shuichi goes depressed. Mr K makes a plan: if the "Bad Luck" sell one million copies of their next album, Yuki will promise a date to Shuichi, and Ayaka will do the same with Hiro.
"Bad Luck" will actually accomplish this task, but meantime Yuki becomes ill and got taken to hospital since he had vomit blood.

Gravitation Manga volume 8:

Shuichi visited Yuki at the hospital and their relation seems to fall apart: Tohma doesn't want them to stay together and set down an ultimatum for them to separate. In response Judy, Mr K's wife, kidnaps Shuichi. A very funny contest born betweeen Mr K and Ark, Judy's bodyguard.

Gravitation Manga volume 9:

Shuichi decides to stay in New York and to sign a contract with XRM records. He wants to forget his life in Japan... and Yuki too!

Gravitation Manga volume 10:

Shuichi comes back in Japan and surprisingly Yuki comes to catch him up at the airport. Yuki decided to reveal himself to Shuichi and offer to say, like a game, "I love you" every time that Shuichi will pay him a sum. But Shuichi takes this game too much seriously and tries any way to find out the money. Alas, Yuki will not say "I love you", but
instead, he says something so horrible to make Shuichi lose his voice,
so he can sing no more.

Gravitation Manga volume 11:

To forget Yuki, Shuichi choose to dedicate everything into his job. Though it's a very harsh work and he starts feeling tired... will "Bad Luck" fall apart with him or will them rise to success? Meanwhile, the "Nittle Grasper" announces their next show...
