Maki Murakami is born under the sign of Gemini, in May, 24, blood group A. She debuts in 1995 with "Narushito no Genki" (thre tragedy of the narcisist) on the "Kimi no Boku" (You and me) magazine - Sony magazines. After a year, Maki Murakami publishes in series, Gravitation. The manga is really loved by the public, but refrained from the closing of the magazine in 2000. By great demand from the fans, the manga is published as solo, and in 2002 it is published again by Gentosha.

Meanwhile, Gravitation TV Serie aired in Japan (2001) and a OAV (Original Anime Video) is born (1999). In other Countries, gravitation is distribuited in France by Puch Comics, Spain by Grupo Editorial Vid (Mexico), German by Carlsen Comics, Sweden by Mangismo Sverige, Denmark by Mangismo Danmark, and in Italy it has annouced many times but the lastest company that promised the manga (Kabuki Publishing) has disappeared (leaving angry thousands of fans).
Gravitation universe is really loved and famous also in the West, it has many gadgets, Audio Soundtrack CD, eight Drama-CD.

Maki Murakami and her staff realized also "Gravitation Remix" where we find all Gravitation characters in a sexual explicit key.
