Gravitation is a manga and anime by Maki Murakami. The transmission of TV serie begins in Japan October, 4th, 2000 at 6.30 pm; transmitted by the non-codified TV WOWOW, and concludes January, 10th, 2001. Gravitation is sold in DVD, comprising two OAV episodes, at the price of Yen 5800.

Gravitation anime: the TV serie

Shindou Shuichi is a young singer, in his rise to success: after found a group named "Bad Luck" with  Nakano Hiroshi, his friend since the times of school, he decides to become famous in the world of J-Pop music.

However, his hopes got smashed in one windy evening when a boy with a thin face, unluckily, reads the text of one song written by Shuichi, commenting that, in front of Shuichi, with as a "Zero Talent. Give it up" judgement.

After two of episodes, Gravitation allows us to know the other characters of the serie: the other members of "Bad Luck's" band, the "Nittle Grasper" with its leading singer Sakuma Ryuichi, Seguchi Tohma president of NG Records and, obviously, Yuki Eiri, the mysterious boy who has criticized a lot the poetry of Shuichi.

With an irresistible series of gag, and a patient cure in the characterization of the characters, soundtracks and songs, Gravitation is smart and innovative, with a real J-pop beat. Beyond being a history of an "unusual" love, inasmuch as it tells of the relationship between two boys (don't be scared, you will not find anything more than a kiss) Gravitation offers many hours of pure amusement!
