Hey there, Nanoda users (?), who's speaking to you is Aiko-chan!
So, let's have a look on the daily menu, and, oh look, there's a really special dish!
After Ergo Proxy, found by our dear Ukeboy [ hiii! *waves hand* ], it was really difficult to find something as interesting and tasty as it. Just impossible, you say? Oh, thanks a lot, you really trust us, eh..
Anyway! Quit crying, cause is the moment to focus on our daily pray: Noir.

Two young killers, extreme shootings, and a total absence of blood are the principal stars of this twenty-six episodes anime transmitted in Japan in April 2001.
Yup, guys, finally an anime for that people who, like me *cough*, mostly give up precisely because of those bloody scenes, which sometimes are really absurd. In fact, the japanese network which transmitted Noir, adopted the policy of 'no blood or we'll lynch you' (just to be polite u.u), obtaining from the director just stylized shootings, which, in the end, didn't diminish the violence of the act itself.
But, don't worry, it is still chilling, partly because of the expressions of the young girls while they kill and massacre and slay and... *cough* Let's go on *_*.

But the jewel in the crown of this anime is the soundtrack: each frame is accompanied by all sorts of music, from techno to gospel, without forgetting the broken notes of a carillon and which are during all the series with the main characters. And just for this Noir deserves a whole nine out of ten, don't you think?
And now, let's try to understand who these girls are and why they kill everyone is in front of them. [ I'm scareeeed ;_; ]

Mireille Bouquet and Kirika Yuumura meet for the first time in France, and they start working together as professional killers, actratted by the clocks they both possess and which leaves the notes of a carillon. Both of them are looking for answers of their past, obscure especially to Kirika, who seems hardly remember even her name. She's just a clue, the name 'Noir', which a lot of time seems to have consequences for the protagonists, also for the appearance of a mysterious woman, Chloe. So, like this all seems too much difficult o.o
But it's not over yet, cause a strange organization is running to the two girls, and which is called Soldiers. And this means more troubles and problems, aw, poor girls.

Noir is the name of the old destiny, two vergins govern death, the peace of the new born, their black hands to protect. What does this sentence mean? Why every main character says it at the beginning of each episode?
Well, now i can't say more than 'watchitwatchitwatchit' xD Oh, right, another thing to add there is. Two womans as main characters [ and other two behind the curtains, and who are waiting ] mean just a bit of shojo ai, especially in the penultimate episode. God, but why I always found just yuri anim.. eh? oh, yeah, what we were saying?
Kyah, see you the next episode at Nanoda.com *0*
.. no, ok, i've to be serious xD
