Naruto shippuuden: Ultimate ninja 4 arrives in Europe too on PlayStation 2!

Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja 4 (the videogame known in Japan also as Naruto Accel – Naruto Shippuuden: Narutimetto Akaseru 2) will finally come out in Europe too for Playstation 2!

    

Who of you has never played with one of the videogames from Naruto?

If you liked the others, well, surely you can't miss this one, since it won't be as the previous and usual titles with a child Naruto: we will play as an adult Naruto!! Along with new available characters, Akatsuki included. You can also watch some previews of the game on the official site of Naruto ultimate ninja 4.

(There you will find also stuff about Naruto Ultimate Ninja 5 [or Accel 2], but nowadays it's available only in Japan).

The plot of the game will be, as usual, based upon the one of the anime / manga by Masashi Kishimoto.

We can say this videogame is pretty old, since in Japan it's been sold since 2007, but it was imported in America and Europe only recently! In fact, in the USA it came out on the 24^th March, while for Australia and England it won't be available before the 15^th May.

Well, how about analysing this videogame a bit? We will find many new details! As, for instance, the training of the famous three years with Jiraya and Naruto, or the battle against Akasuna no Sasori and Deidara, or even the fight between Team Gai and the copies of Itachi and Kisame... The battle at the Sky Bridge (Tenchi Bridge) with Naruto, Sakura, Sai and Yamato against Orochimaru and Kabuto and... much more! I can't reveal you everything, otherwise I would spoil you this fantastic videogame.

The characters are pretty much the same from Ultimate Ninja 3, except for some: there won't be, e.g., Naruto with the green suit Maito Gai-style and ANBU Kakashi. But we have luckily new entries, as the playable characters Sasori, Deidara and the old Chiyo, together with other people I'm not telling you now :P

Let's see, however, the complete list of the 52 playable characters, with their own transformations:

(I noticed a little particular... Say and Yamato are missing at the rollcall! And they are quite always present in the Shippuuden series!!)

Obviously, you don't have all the characters since the beginning, you will have to unlock them, completing the missions in the GDR Mode. While playing, you will be able to use also the first series versions of the characters, as the children. Pressing the START button before a battle, you will be able to choose the version of the character you want to fight with!

A little trick to get all the characters unlocked from the beginning is to have a Memory Card saving of Naruto Ultimate Hero 3! It will give you all of them, except for the Akatsuki and the Fourth Hokage. They will be unlockable only beating the GDR Mode and collecting all the blue spheres in the map (20 totally, 16 are easily seeable, the rest are hidden!)

I can only say that if you are used to Naruto Ninja Storm for PS3, the graphic of the games will look horrible to you, but for a manga-style game for Ps2 it is very well groomed and done! But I hope the fighting mode has been changed, because after a while, it resulted a bit boring pressing the usual Circle to every single attack!
