October and November: Anime Cons are approaching, how many of you are already preparing a Naruto cosplay? I've collected for you 70 Naruto cosplays that I judge being very near to perfection, you could use them as inspiration for your next cosplay.
The best Naruto Cosplays are, usually, Japanese. But that doesn't mean that we lovable Americans can't have a good cosplay ourselves!
The 'trick' consists in creating costumes yourself, without falling back to 'pre-cooked' materials. Pre-cooked materials are OK only for your cosplay's gadgets: bandanas, symbols, chains, etc. Dresses for a good Naruto cosplay must be created accurately, following you own measures. An other important thing is face management: look how these cosplayers used appropriate contacts, as for Sharingan in the eyes of Sasuke's cosplay or Byakugan in Neji's cosplay.
Also remember that your size is important... look at the cosplay on the bottom of the page and you'll understand, even if in a joking way, what I mean. And so, no more chatting, let's enjoy these exceptional Naruto cosplays!
Naruto Cosplay : Sasuke
In this Sasuke cosplay, look at the eyes and at the attention in making the black tattoos. Really nice also the costumes canvas.
In this Sasuke cosplay look at the armband, at the hair style, at the black colos on the eyes and at the Kunai.
Again, eyes and tattoos.
Also here, tattoos are made with much attention.
Also the attitude is important:
Note the particulars: the bag and the symbol on the back.
Also here the attitude does a nice job, the weapon on the rear is really well-realized.
Again the same Sasuke cosplay: look also at the weapon's proportions compared to the guy that cosplays.
Photo revised with Photoshop, yes, but fantastic effect, it is undeniable this Sasuke cosplay being well done.
Could the Yaoi Sasuke cosplay be missed? No, and in fact here it is, for girls delight.
Naruto Cosplay : Naruto
I have to admit that finding a decent Naruto cosplay is difficult. Naruto is cosplayed mostly by girls... who knows why. Can anyone tell me? Have you seen some photos of a Naruto cosplay intepretated by a boy?
Heh, really nice work on accessories: umbrella, scrolls, kunais and dress.
Nice light effect, blue eyes. Cosplay would had been better if Naruto's 'whiskers' weren't so clearly drawn with felt-tip pen.
Here is a very nice cosplay from deviantArt. Don't know how much it's 'photoshopped', but seeing it this way it seems a wonderful Naruto cosplay.
Naruto Cosplay : Kakashi
Quoting a famous movie, 'Kakashi is so hot right now'.
Let's see the Kakashi's first cosplay. As you can see, hairs are really his, painted with white and gray. It's a thing I really appreciate. The wig risks to make the cosplay ridicolous.
Again the same Kakashi's cosplayer.
Kakashi again with an ANBU squad cosplayer. You understand now my early speech about the wig?
Kakashi and ANBU squad again: surely one of the most succesful. Of course also lights and landscape matters.
Naruto Cosplay : Squadra Anbu
Oh yeah, also ANBU Squad's cosplays are really hot; I have to say that these are really great.
The choice of the accessories, such as chains, the mask, the textiles is exceptional.

Here's an example of how to draw marks on the face, no felt-tip pen, but a dissolved colour, surely of great impact.

I repeat, attitude is really important in cosplay.
Naruto Cosplay : Gaara
In this Gaara cosplay you can find the top in using makeup. I think Gaara's cosplay is one of the most elabotated and complex, but it's surely a cosplay with a great visual impact. Look at this masterpiece.
This Gaara cosplay, even if simpler and less elaborated of the previous one, leaves you agape.
Naruto Cosplay : Neji
Making a perfect cosplay is difficult, but with these Neji cosplays I think we're close to perfection. Contact-lenses and the attention in choosing the canvas for dress and arm-bands is sensational. No wig, hairs are natural.

Wonderful with the vein idea, painted with so much attention they seem almost real.
Naruto Cosplay : Sakura
Well, let's pass to the wonderful Naruto girls. Sakuka is a rare choice, but I think these two cosplayers are very depictive.
I can't tell if it is a wig or hair-painting, that's a good sign, it means this Sakura cosplay is well done.
Naruto Cosplay : Temari
The most complex work about realizing a Temari cosplay is surely che canvases choice and the building of the enormous fan. Someone talked about... measures? Come ooon!
The fan is exceptional.
Not the best, I think the canvas is too much 'fake', but makeup isn't bad.
Not high-quality photo, but the costume seems well-done, the fan has a really cured paint, particulars tha make difference.
Naruto Cosplay : Tsunade
Ok, ok, size does matter. Take a look at this Tsunade cosplay.
Naruto Cosplay : Haku
Haku's cosplayer is really sweet. Nice costume-cut end effective with the light makeup on the face. The landscape completes the beauty of this cosplay like in a painting.

Naruto Cosplay : Tayuya
Let's come back to Naruto boys with Tayuya (no, it isn't 'fiendish' version!).
Naruto Cosplay : Shikamaru
One of my favourite characters, after Naruto and Gaara. Shikamaru is perfectly described in this cosplay.
Naruto Cosplay : Gai and Rock Lee
Inseparable teacher and pupil, these Gai and Rock Lee cosplays that I propose to you aren't the best thing, mostly for canvas choice... but congratulations for sympathy.

Naruto Cosplay : Itachi
I know you were waiting for Itachi's cosplay. No fear, the tenebrous Sasuke's older brother is here, and also with a nice cosplay.

Naruto Cosplay : Sasori
Also this one comes from deviantArt. Here it is Sasori, what an angelic face, huh?
Naruto Cosplay : Deidara
Maybe it's because he's like a 'new entry', but it's difficult to find a Deidara cosplay. Here it is one that I believe very nice (even if the flocculus is upside-down!). Even this cosplay comes from deviantArt.
Naruto Cosplay : Kimimaro
Even Kimiaro's cosplay is rare, but this girl did a nice job (even if I think his face is too much womanly, and so she isn't so appropriated).
Naruto Cosplay : Orochimaru
Heeelp, he's bad and evil! Orochimaru is a cosplay that requires much attention in makeup and hairs. Let's see how Japanese cosplayers do with this difficult cosplay.

Only one? Well. If you have a beard, use it on an Asuma cosplay.

Ok, incapable, but let's just give him an ok for the try.

I temporarily badly speak on English, but will be possible clearly. I have more NEJI to be pleasant. Generally it to be pleasant to much. Itself in a network looked. I mean that in real cosplayers to many people has fallen in love.

I have seen a guy cosplay Naruto once, he was at con. but I don't remember which one. And he made a yaoi cosplay on-stage with I'm assuming his boyfriend..

lol. Most of the Naruto Cosplay's I've seen were boys.. And, 3 of the Naruto pictures you have up there, are all the same person, and he is a boy. His name is Lee, and he's Phillipino, I believe.
The second Sakura and the first Neji were obviously wearing wigs, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Unfortunately, I have never made my own cosplay, nor do I believe I have the skill required to make a costume. In my past school year we were promised a sewing course which never happened. =_=; So that went out the window.
Getting back to the cosplays; I thank you for the hints and tips.
I especially liked the Zabuza and Haku cosplays!

I'm from Holland, and for us it's very hard to find naruto costums without paying above €100, I loved the Deidara that u've showned, because mostly the hair looks like nothing but I think this one looked really really great^^ Xx

Okay, the Naruto&Hinata one looks NOTHING like them. People just say they're cute because "Oh, it's Naruto and Hinata," but really they just look like two babies who dressed up.
