Dragon Ball Trailer- Live Action

As you all know, the announcement of this movie was made quite a while ago, but now the date of the first airing of the “Live Action” movie of Dragon Ball has finally been decided!

    

It will be aired in theatres across the world precisely on the 10th of April 2009. Yep! It's a long wait, but in the meantime you could have a look at the trailer where you can see our heroes in action!

The plot of the film is more or less the same as in the manga/anime by Akira Toriyama:

Goku is an 18-year-old unpopular boy at school but he happens to be an extremely talented martial arts fighter, strictly trained by his grandfather Gohan. After Gohan's death at the hands of the evil Lord Piccolo, Goku discovers his destiny when his dying Grandpa Gohan entrusts his last wish to him: find Master Roshi and gather the 7 Dragon Balls (one of which he already has), and prevent Lord Piccolo from using them to express the desire to rule the world. Trained by Master Roshi, along with Bulma, Yamcha and other friends met during the journey, Goku shows he is a formidable fighter, and seems to be nearly invincibile. During the dangerous adventures to find the Dragon Balls and save the world, Goku faces both physical and emotional challenges and realizes that his entire life will be spent looking for the Dragon Balls with his comrades.

And now let's talk about the bad points...
I personally like the Dragon Ball anime, but I think this film was made just to take advantage of something already famous. I mean... Ok nice special effects, nothing to complain about that.
I've also seen how Shenron the Dragon was made and I can say the graphic they used to draw it it's really eye-catching. Here you have a screenshot, even it is not very clear, the video was pretty dark.

Anyway... maybe it's because I don't like the casing (except for Piccolo, it's not that bad, but they could have done better), maybe because it's the same old story... but I don't think i'm going to like this movie at all from what I could see of the trailer. And where's Crilin?? He's not on the characters list, am I mistaken? He was Goku's best friend... why isn't he there? And what about the golden cloud??
Bah.... I really think I'm not going to watch this movie. It could ruin my love of Dragon Ball! =P But this is just my humble opinion.
