The fascinating story of a true hero: Astro Boy. He's new, he's in 3D, he has an oscar's voice and he's loony more than ever! Today is available the trailer on the new film directed by David Bowers. It will take life in cinemas on 23 October 2009.

    

Set in the futuristic Metro City, 'Astro Boy' tells the story of a young robot (young?) with incredible powers. Created by the evil mind of the scientist Tenma, whose voice will be - hear ye! - that one of Nicolas Cage, Astro Boy is fueled by Blue energy, somewhat 'as the ecodiesel; he has super strength, super vision, super speed, super flight and the super budget, since the voice of the nice little-robot is to Freddie Highmore!

The story also offers spur for discussion (has someone said mental masturbation?) on a journey in search of emotions typical of humans: joy, pain, friendship and the meaning of the word Destiny. This path will teach to Astro Boy that he can uses his powers to protect those dear to him and the weight and responsibility that are necessary to become an Hero.

Among the cast of voices i point out: Freddie Highmore, Nicolas Cage, Kristen Bell, Donald Sutherland, Nathan Lane and Bill Nighy.
