Prepare the cannons, deploy the heavy artillery, keep ready the Gundams, debrief the Arbalest! Iron Vendetta is coming!

    

The production team of Kōtetsu no Vendetta (Iron Vendetta) has announced on its blog the beginning of the production of the first complete episode of the anime. To celebrate the announce, the creator Thumbnail sent a new promotional video, after the one they already released in december.

The creators aim to complete the episode for next year.

The project began as a short "picture drama", that then partially evolved in a pilot animated film. The project creators sold a DVD as preview at Tokyo's Comic Market 75 last december and will re-release it this summer at Comic Market 76.

It seems interesting and drawings aren't bad at all... surely some robots' design recalls a little mechas already seen (they seemed to me a bit like the Full Metal Panic ones) but the tones seem decisely dramatic together with a dark aura of mistery... but you can't judge a book from its cover, so we have just to wait for 2010 and see how it is...
