ASCI Media Works Dengeki Bunko recently announced that the light novel "Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora - looking up at the half-moon", by Tsumugu Hashimoto, will be adapted as a Live-action movie.

    

What what? You don't know anything about this light novel?!

Don't worry, I'm going to tell you something on its plot!

Due to an hospitalization, Yuuichi is forced to spend his days in a boring bed in the hospital.

Things change when he meets Rika, a coetaneous girl hospitalized in the department for most severe illnesses.

This is the beginning of a very particular relation between the two of them...

The six main stories and two of the short ones have already been adapted: they've been turned in a manga series published on the "Monthly Dengeki Comic GAO!" magazine between 2006 and 2008, in an anime and in a drama in 2006.

Dengeki Bunko has not announced which of the actors from the previous drama will be part of the cast for the new live-action yet. Here it is the poster of the previous production:
