Dogs Anime is coming! An adaptation of a series of OAV from Dogs by Shirow Miwa

Calm down, guys, don't panic! I'm NOT talking about the Nintendo DS puppies, today I bring you big news: the anime from “Dogs” by Miwa is coming!!

    

The official website for the adaptation of a series of OAV from Dogs by Shirow Miwa has released a promotional video. The first OAV is coming out with the fourth tankobon of Dogs: Bullets & Carnage by Miwa, on the 19^th May, while the second one will be on sale with Dogs: Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark, from the 17^th July. The manga, published by Shueisha on Ultra Jump magazine, is still unfinished.

From my own limited experience (yeah, I've discovered Dogs' existence a little ago), I could only read "Dogs Hardcore Twins", unique chapter which nearly killed me with laughters X°D (the twins were most pleasant)

But now, let's go and give a furtive glance to the plot...

The story is set in a post-apocalyptic future when, after an apex of technology, Earth started its decline: science went mad, degenerating in a series of uncontrolled genetical manipulations and other cruel experiments, and extreme violence is a daily routine. We find the 4 protagonists in a European city: Haine, an albino bandit who's been genetically modified, Badou, a mercenary and a inveterate smoker, Mihai, a former assassin, and Naoto, an orphan ever-carrying a long katana; they will cross their roads, searching for a way to escape violence, trying to survive at their bests to the desolation which haunts their world...

Well... With flying bullets, blood, tragic moments and flashes of comicity, I believe this is a title which needs to be taken into account... maybe you, Black Lagoon and Cowboy Bebop lovers, will enjoy it ^-^
