If you are saying "me", I won't believe you :P
If you want to travel to Japan during this cherry tree blooming period in spring, I suggest you to go and see them! Especially if you are romantic!

Usually tree flowers bloom around April, and they are at their maximum beauty for one or two days, and they will slowly decade until the end of the month.
In this period, the Japanese will gather with relatives or friends, in city parks (the best places are in Osaka or Kyoto, where there is a lot of countryside, so there are more trees) where they try to find every time the best place to eat under bloomed flowers, with special l'Hanami bentos (or Ohanami, this word literally means "watch the flowers").

There will also be a lot of kiosks with various foods, hereafter you can see a video that I found, so you'll better understand what I mean ^_^
You can also see special shows, fireworks, from the early morning to late evening, for the whole month, until the last Sakura petal (the cherry tree petal) has been fall off.
Everything is made to celebrate the blooming, but also because the cherry flower represents the Japanese country soul: delicate and short life, will mean the beauty and the fragility of the life, very important to them!
This feast is so important for them! They also spend a lot of time for preparations! You can find them in this website I found! There are a lot of sweet things, for me. ^_^
