The CEATEC (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies) is the most important technology event of all Japan! It is held every year since 2000 (to mark the technological revolution) in Chiba, Japan. Usually, the CEATEC is an event where the major manufacturers of technology display their jewelry behind reliquaries with little words that say things like "admire but do not touch." To be more precise... they give a demonstration of technologies of the future, but with unapproachable prices.

This year, though, as the world pulls the straps, it was decided to give a "touch" in the presentation of new technologies. It isn't a coincidence that the very acclaimed technology of electronic screens, Oled, this year has announced herself with few delightful trinkets, though you can be assured they're rather expensive. Sony has pulled out of the cylinder their wonder in LCD advances: ultra thin screens.
But for us this isn't enough, in fact, Toshiba - attention to the name, it will become a galactical reference point - presented a new creation: SCIB (Super Charge Ion Battery), or to be again more precise... batteries for laptops and cell phones that can be recharged in ... drum roll ... just ten minutes! Oh, yeah! You've understood correctly, a laptop recharged in ten minutes, anywhere. But the wonders of the Ceatec aren't finished yet, in fact the stand of Yamaha presented an orchestra decidedly original, exploiting their new mobile technology (that can play any sound in Dolby Surround) they've played some "short songs". At first look at this "mobile band", i asked "which will be the form of phone?", and the response has been exceptional, dear nanoder friends, they're musical instruments!
Do you think that everything is finished here? A simple and microscopic article about wonders on sale in the near future? Absolutely not!
Checking out more information on some sites, I found a tidbits of info which will set a shine to you're eyes (even if it is an old robot - 2006 - it does its great figure), "he" is... Nabaztag!

This beautiful rabbit was designed by two gentlemen (Rafi Haladjian and Olivier Mével) in 2005, with a restyling did in 2006, given his enormous success in countries which had been put up for sale. It was (re)presented at CEATEC too, with new models and curiously moving ears, flashing and emitting radio and podcasts! Yeah, because this flea (which is not flea) doesn't allow you to connect wi-fi only, but also tells you the weather, time, the presence of new e-mail and, last but not least, will tell you from time to time some messages from the server, like every Furby would! Given its usefulness, the Nabaztag (with the addition of /tab for the new version) had some big plug-ins in perl and Java supported languages by the rabbit. Many of these wi-fi animals have become powerful radio stations so the cute companions are easily able to break the silence of a study or work in heavy pc, and any other kind of boredom or when you want to enjoy listening webradio as Radio2, or others. In sum, a MUST that can be obtained at Nabaztag.com!
Finally, I conclude by giving a small space to the environment by showing you the robot Nissan created and some other little pearls taken from around the Internet. In our show we were only at half Ceatec, and Murata, small Nissan robots, and cars with magnetic levitation surprised us. I finished my article giving you all two small videos: Murata on a bike and unicycle, and a robotic agent, an affiliate of biomimetic robots, which explains (ahimè, in Japanese, but it is definitely particular to be seen) as they could and have created anti-collision systems! (in short, it says that the technology is based on the vision of insects, or a perception, and within a certain area - depending on the risk - the vehicle would automatically decelerate and respond by turning or other specialities... for saturday's drinker is simply fantastic, no?). So, see you soon, Laliho!
Robot Murata and his spouse Murata Seiko-chan!
A nice walk in total relax with car? No problem! Nissan takes care of all!
